MRE Consulting Celebrates 25 Years of Quality Professional Services

MRE Consulting, Ltd., is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its founding.

The Houston-based professional services firm opened its doors on March 11, 1994, with a focus on providing objective insights that combine business and technology to help companies achieve their goals.

MRE Consulting has achieved a tremendous amount of growth over the past quarter of a century. What began as a small start-up with fewer than 10 consultants has grown into a firm of more than 200 professionals located across the United States. MRE is led by its three founding partners, Mike Short, Shane Merz and Dru Neikirk, its three newly admitted partners, Doug Ashmore, Bill Bucy, and Bjorn Hagelmann and a leadership team including more than 23 directors and executives.

Most recently, the firm was named to the CIO.com 100 in 2017. The CIO 100 honors 100 organizations around the world that demonstrate the highest level of performance in operational and strategic excellence in information technology through creating competitive advantages, improving ways of doing business and growing and strengthening relationships with customers.
