Dreamforce 2025 Predictions: A Look into the Agentic Future

9/23/2025

Dreamforce 2025 is just around the corner, and the anticipation is building. This year, all signs point to an event that will firmly establish Salesforce not just as an AI leader, but as the central nervous system for a truly “Agentic Enterprise.” Here’s what our team predicts to be the major themes and big reveals at this year’s conference.

The Agentic Enterprise Takes Center Stage

If Dreamforce 2024 was about introducing the concept of Agentforce, Dreamforce 2025 will be about putting it to work. This year’s key message will most likely focus on that AI agents are no longer just a “nice-to-have” but a core driver of operations. Agents are now capable of integrating seamlessly with human teams to unlock unprecedented productivity.

With the revamped Agentforce 3.0 and Model Context Protocol (MCP) becoming the standard. We expect Salesforce to announce Agentforce 3.0 with the ability to hook into external apps via MCP. This will enable a seamless, no-code connection to any MCP-compliant external system. Eliminating the need for custom integrations, allowing agents to access enterprise tools, resources, and external AI systems securely.

The Rise of Voice-Enabled AI

While much of the focus on AI agents has been text-based, a major new capability we expect to see at Dreamforce is voice-enabled AI. This could revolutionize how sales and service teams operate. Imagine a salesperson having a real-time, two-way conversation with an AI agent in their car on the way to a customer site, getting a spoken rundown of the customer’s history and key talking points. This would take “in the moment” productivity to a new level.

Slack as the New Front Door

The role of Slack in the Salesforce ecosystem is set to become even more profound. Our team believes we will see a major push to position Slack as the primary interface for interacting with Agentforce and the broader CRM. Imagine a world where you don’t need to leave your Slack workspace to manage customer data, get predictive insights from an AI agent, or automate a sales workflow.

This strategy will make the power of Salesforce more accessible to every employee, turning AI agents into true teammates. Expect live demos showing how sales teams can use Slack to collaborate with an AI agent to build a pricing strategy, create a proposal, or even get real-time coaching before a call, all through natural language conversation.

Data Cloud, Data Cloud, Data Cloud!

Every compelling AI story starts with data. The power of Agentforce is directly tied to the quality and accessibility of the data it uses. Dreamforce 2025 will hammer home the message that Data Cloud is the single source of truth for the agentic enterprise.

Recent acquisitions, such as Informatica and Waii, will be central to this narrative. We expect to see how Informatica’s data management capabilities including data integration, governance, and quality will be used to “supercharge” Data Cloud, making it the most complete and “agent ready” data platform in the industry. This will enable agents to operate on clean, connected data, ensuring more accurate and trustworthy outputs.

Tableau gets smarter with AI

The recent Waii acquisition is expected to be the brains behind this new intelligence, moving Tableau beyond simple dashboards and into a new era of proactive, AI-driven insights. For example, a sales manager could receive an alert from an AI agent, powered by Tableau, that a specific account is at risk of churn. This alert would not only identify the risk but also provide a predictive analysis and a list of recommended actions.

Dreamforce 2025 is set to explore a future where AI agents, powered by clean data and integrated across Salesforce’s products, become a standard for business productivity. Our Salesforce team will be attending the event to gather key takeaways and insights, which we’ll be sure to share afterwards. Stay tuned for more.
