We are looking for a Business Analyst with a deep understanding of the Retail C&I Power and Gas Energy business. The ideal candidate will work directly with the business to gather requirements, analyze complete data sets, and drive solutions to resolve business needs. The Business Analyst will have excellent leadership skills as well as hands-on application implementation experience to drive the appropriate architectural solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives
Steer/guide business users towards strategic solution - Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop detailed business requirements and functional specifications
- Work with development teams to ensure solutions align with business goals
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Create and maintain documentation, including process flows and user guides
- Assist in project management activities, including planning, monitoring, and reporting
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders to align expectations and resolve conflicts
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers
- Conduct user acceptance testing
Essential Skills and Experience
- Deep understanding of the Retail C&I Power and Gas Energy business
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including but not limited to SQL, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Excellent meeting facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a nearshore/onshore/offshore team
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus
