About the Job
Project/Role details:
• The Mid to Senior level PMO to support the Client’s Project. This project is an integration project – includes system, process, op model change.
• We would like people who have knowledge and experience in a Trading and/or refining business.
• All candidates must be able to evidence that they have worked as a PMO on multiple large scale complex change programmes. This is not the opportunity for someone to stretch into. We need people who have “done this before.”
• This is a hands-on role and the person will be required to role up sleeves and get critical PMO items delivered.
• Role reports into the Senior PM on the Project. We have a Europe PMO, and we required a Houston based on.
• Candidate needs to come into the office 3 day per week. This is a mandatory requirement.
• 6-12 months (duration being confirmed)
Activities
• Sign and maintain confidentiality of the project/information until embargo is lifted
• Learn and understand project/business context to be able to write meeting minutes, create materials, and facilitate meetings effectively
• Develop and support managing program/project plan
• Develop project approaches and templates
• Develop meeting cadence and schedule meetings/working sessions (including agenda, content preparation, coordinating obtaining inputs from stakeholders, logistics planning, etc)
• Plan and support project meeting cadence: DRB communications, DRB meeting preparation, Workstream meetings, Project meetings, etc
• Develop content/materials for meetings (DRB, Sponsor, Project meetings, etc)
• Action tracking and follow-up with action owners
• Establish and manage Risk/Action/Issue/Decision (RAID) log tracking/help risk owner and PMs resolve issues/risks and escalating where necessary
• Define and maintain MS teams structure documents storage and archiving documents/deliverables
• Create deliverable inventory and support development of deliverables (as needed)
• Support team members to create slides/content for meetings/engagements (creating content or coordinating obtaining content from Business/SMEs)
• Support stakeholder management/stakeholder engagement
• Support development of Change and Engage strategy and plan
• Support development of Change and Engage materials (as needed)
• Support team members to create slides/content for meetings/engagements
• Integrator across all team members and being available to address project related questions or concerns
• Identify and escalate issues/risks to Project Manager immediately for visibility and mitigation
