MRE Consulting has an exciting contract opportunity for a .NET Desktop Developer to join a front-office team supporting pre-trade analytics applications. You will be engaged in all phases of software development, including design, implementation, testing and release.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in C# .NET Windows development
- 5+ years of UI development experience
- Full stack web development experience (React, Java)
- Cloud technologies experience (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Financial trading systems experience
- Familiarity with SQL/PL-SQL
- Experience with stored procedures
- Ability to navigate custom business workflows and modernize DevOps processes
- A strong customer focus and a willingness to own the end-to-end delivery of business value
- Ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively with business and technical stakeholders
- A self-motivated, inquisitive and methodical style of problem-solving
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks to support traders and other business users
- Good understanding of data structures, design patterns and algorithms
- Agile methodology and practices
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
