Solution Architect
Solution Architects at MRE Consulting are pivotal in delivering intelligent and robust solutions for clients.
What does a Solution Architect do?
They lead Functional requirements sessions, act as a bridge between clients and MRE’s development team, and architect and document solutions. These leaders play a key role in designing scalable solutions, providing expert guidance to the team, and mentoring individuals. They see the big picture and define how it all fits together. Their role demands a deep understanding of both the software platform and industry specifics to ensure the delivery of an effective solution.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the ETRM platform
- Lead design sessions; architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with client business objectives
- Manage functional scope and client expectations
- Provide hands-on, expert-level functional assistance to business analysts
- Coordinate efforts between Functional and Technical teams
- Design the execution of test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered
- Be a credible subject matter expert to clients and partners on sales cycles and marketing events
- Coach and mentor junior functional resources
- Knowledgeable on the ETRM product roadmap and features being deployed in maintenance releases
- Relay progress to project managers and stakeholders
Who you are and what you’ve accomplished:
You bring an uncommon combination of breadth and depth across the full trading lifecycle. You have experience on multiple platforms, with multiple business models, and a strong presence with stakeholders across all levels of the client organization. You are a creative problem solver who also has a firm grasp of the underlying technical architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in ETRM related delivery
- Proven ability to support the management of projects, lead discovery and build cycles, and work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills in a rapidly changing environment
- Demonstrated industry or domain expertise
