What you will be doing:

As a CTRM Consultant, you will serve as key team member on software implementation projects and will be responsible for providing functional expertise and/or technical expertise in CTRM systems.

• Working as a consulting team member on product implementation, integration and/or enhancement projects.
• Conduct requirements workshops and analysis to capture customer needs.
• Model complex business scenarios.
• Liaise with customers and team members on all functional phases of projects.
• Assist developers with technical tasks to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Perform issue resolution, analysis and trouble shooting.

Who you are and what you’ve accomplished:

You’re experienced in the commodities trading, within the oil and gas or utilities industries, and you’re hungry to expand your expertise and put it to use.

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, or related field or equivalent.
• At least 3+ years of experience with Gas and Power customers, and the US gas and power trading lifecycles.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Endur implementation, experienced with knowledge of US Power and Gas.
• Minimum 2 years of experience specialization in at least one area of Front Mid Back office.
• Experience of doing at least 1 Endur implementation end to end.
• ISO power market familiarity: LMP, generation dispatch, physical flows/tagging, et cetera.
• Working familiarity with common energy transactions including physical electricity contracts, financial energy transactions, swaps, variable-volume offtake agreements (i.e. wind and solar), load agreements, FTRs, and both exchange and bilateral trade types.
• MISO, PJM, CAISO, and ERCOT market structure experience preferred.
• Experience in application support, application enhancements, and/or application implementations.
• Gathering & analyzing requirements for system configuration and customization
• Proficient in MS SQL and/or PL/SQL statements.
• Application of best practices to ensure quality and accuracy of project deliverables.
• High self-motivation and strong delivery focus.
• Presenting ideas for groups of various business stakeholders.
• Planning and coordinating project activities and schedules.

Is experience with Ion Endur, RightAngle, Allegro, or other E/CTRM system required?

This will depend on your professional background and near-term projects. Preferred candidates will have a background in both physical and financial trading environments. Your E/CTRM system experience will help determine your role in a project.

IS THIS A REMOTE OR HYBRID POSITION?

MRE has always been a flexible employer and we recognize that our clients hire us to work on challenging projects with tight deadlines. Therefore, for this position, a remote or hybrid hire will have a successful track record of working remote, AND have prior experience in our industry.

WHAT IS THE PAY RANGE?

The salary range is $135k-$220k commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a discretionary bonus structure starting at $30k for this position. As an added benefit, our bonuses are not capped and you can earn more based on YOUR performance.
