You are passionate about driving sales growth through understanding our customer’s business objectives or challenges and explaining how technology solutions can meet their needs.

What does an Inside Sales Analyst do?
Business Development – Inside Sales Analyst at MRE
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, trade shows, etc.
  • Qualify leads and engage them through the sales cycle.
  • Communicate our work and impact by creating compelling customer success stories and go-to-market content to support campaigns and sales.
  • Know MRE, our clients and value proposition.
  • Stay current on technology trends, the energy industry and the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and delivery teams to develop, maintain, and grow relationships and opportunities across the sales cycle
  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ business goals and create compelling solutions for them to help them succeed.
  • Identify target accounts through client research and position solutions through knowledge of our solutions and competitive research.
  • Track and analyze sales cycle metrics for individual success and communicate them internally to leadership team.
  • Experience using Salesforce Sales Cloud or a CRM tool for tracking and managing sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Retain and grow revenue within your accounts
  • Consult with partners that are out in the field and can either be client partners or outside third-party vendors
Who you are and what you’ve accomplished:
  • Willingness to collaborate with Sales and Technical/Functional colleagues on Sales pursuits.
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills with excellent listening, and comfort working with cross-functional teams and virtual teams.
  • Proven organizational skills, with a growth mindset and self-starter attitude.
  • Personable with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • 2-5 years of experience in selling professional services and/or consulting services.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Energy Trading and Risk Management knowledge or experience is a plus.
  • Oil and gas industry experience is a plus.
  • Salesforce or CRM solution sales is a plus.
  • Must reside in a commutable distance to the Greater Houston, Texas area. Candidates in Dallas Fort Worth, Austin, or San Antonio will also be considered.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for meetings and conferences.
